Summary
This study looks at how muscle and tendon tissues rebuild after an injury. Forty people having knee surgery will receive either growth hormone or a placebo, with or without mild electrical muscle stimulation. The goal is to understand the role of connective tissue in muscle repair, not to test a new treatment.
