Summary
This study looks at how well leg muscles produce energy in older adults (60+) with and without HIV. Researchers will use MRI scans and walking tests to measure muscle metabolism and fatigue. The goal is to understand if metabolic problems in the calf muscle are linked to reduced exercise ability. 200 participants are being recruited at Johns Hopkins University.
