First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests a new approach for people with advanced breast, melanoma, or colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver. Doctors will use heat or cold to destroy some liver tumors, hoping this wakes up the immune system to fight cancer throughout the body. Then they add an immunotherapy drug to boost that effect. The goal is to shrink tumors and control the disease longer. About 95 adults with at least three liver tumors will take part.
