Team care for breast cancer: a new way to tackle treatment side effects?
NCT ID NCT01621659
First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at whether getting extra check-ups and support from a team of health professionals (like nurses, dietitians, and exercise therapists) can help people with breast cancer manage side effects from chemotherapy. About 80 adults with breast cancer will either receive this team-based care or their usual care. The goal is to see if the team approach improves heart health and overall well-being during and after cancer treatment.
