Scientists seek to unravel link between genetic cancer risk and mysterious skin tumors
NCT ID NCT07201012
Summary
This study aims to find out how often people with Lynch syndrome, a genetic condition that increases cancer risk, also develop a related skin condition called Muir-Torre syndrome. Researchers will examine 150 patients with confirmed Lynch syndrome to check for specific skin tumors and analyze tissue samples. The goal is to better understand the connection between these conditions and improve future screening and care.
