New app could let cystic fibrosis patients track lung health from home

NCT ID NCT06147778

First seen Dec 18, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tested a smartphone app called MuCopilot that helps people with cystic fibrosis measure their lung function and exercise ability at home. Seventy adults in France used the app to perform voice tests, walking tests, and answer questions about their symptoms. The goal was to see if the app's results matched those from standard clinic tests, which could reduce the need for frequent hospital visits.
