Summary
This pilot study tests whether a hands-on therapy called Mobilization and Tactile Stimulation (MTS) can help stroke survivors who have unilateral neglect—a condition where they are unaware of one side of their body. Six adults who are at least 20 weeks post-stroke will receive MTS for 45-60 minutes, five days a week for six weeks. Researchers will measure changes in neglect using simple tests like removing stickers from their body and crossing out letters on a page.
