Who gets the best MS care? study reveals treatment gaps

NCT ID NCT05131984

Summary

This study looked back at medical records to see if people's gender, race, or economic background affected their access to a multiple sclerosis drug called Ocrelizumab and how well the treatment worked for them. Researchers analyzed data from 800 patients at two major hospitals to understand if everyone gets equal care and outcomes. The goal was to identify any unfair differences in who gets treatment and how they respond to it.
