Scientists test new tool to predict who gets MS

NCT ID NCT01617395

Summary

This study tested whether a combined genetic and environmental risk score could help predict who might develop multiple sclerosis (MS). Researchers studied 181 people with MS and their family members to see if the risk score could identify those at highest risk. The goal was to better understand early warning signs before symptoms appear.
