Scientists scan brains to see how MS drug fights inflammation

NCT ID NCT04230174

Summary

This study used advanced brain scans to see if the approved MS drug ocrelizumab reduces inflammation in the brain. Researchers scanned 22 patients with multiple sclerosis before and after about a year of standard ocrelizumab treatment. The goal was to understand how the drug works in the brain by measuring changes in inflammation and brain tissue health.
