Summary
This study tested a new analysis of spinal fluid to see if it can accurately diagnose multiple sclerosis (MS) and distinguish between its different types. It also aimed to find markers that could predict how a person's MS might progress in the future. Researchers analyzed old spinal fluid samples from 161 people with and without MS to validate the test's accuracy.
