Scientists map Brain's wiring in MS using new scan

NCT ID NCT04634994

Summary

This study aims to understand how progressive multiple sclerosis affects connections between brain cells. Researchers will use a new type of brain scan (PET) to measure these connections in 30 people with different types of MS and healthy volunteers. The goal is to see if changes in brain connections relate to symptoms like walking difficulty, memory problems, and fatigue.
