Simple urine test could replace painful bladder exams for MS patients

NCT ID NCT06161376

Summary

This study is testing whether a substance in urine (called S1P) can serve as a simple marker for overactive bladder in people with multiple sclerosis (MS). Currently, diagnosing and monitoring this common MS symptom requires an invasive and uncomfortable test. Researchers will enroll 400 MS patients to see if measuring S1P in urine can accurately reflect bladder activity, potentially offering a much easier alternative.
