NCT ID NCT04496830
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at whether proteins in spinal fluid can reliably tell the difference between multiple sclerosis (MS) and other brain diseases, and also predict how MS will progress. Researchers analyzed fluid samples from 161 people with MS and compared them to standard clinical measures. The goal was to find biomarkers that could help doctors diagnose MS earlier and forecast a patient's future disease course and response to treatment.
