First human trial launches for experimental heart risk drug

Summary

This study is the first time MRT-8102, an experimental pill, is being tested in humans. It aims to check the drug's safety in 100 healthy adults and people at risk for heart problems with high CRP levels. Participants will take single or multiple doses of the drug or a placebo over up to 28 days. The results will help decide the right dose for future studies.
