First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This Pfizer study tests several experimental mRNA-based flu vaccines in 770 healthy adults aged 18 and older. Participants receive one dose and are monitored for about 6 months for safety and immune response. The goal is to see if these new vaccines are safe and trigger a strong defense against the flu.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could lead to a more effective flu vaccine that is quicker to update each year.
