New scan aims to better spot spreading prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT03085043

Summary

This study is testing if a special full-body MRI scan is better than the standard combination of bone and CT scans at finding out if high-risk prostate cancer has spread to the bones or lymph nodes. Men with high-risk prostate cancer will receive both the new MRI scan and the standard scans. Researchers will compare the results to see which method is more accurate.
