First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study compares two types of radiation therapy for women with early-stage breast cancer after lumpectomy. One group receives standard CT-guided radiation, and the other receives MRI-guided radiation using a special machine called an MRI-Linac. The goal is to see if the MRI-guided method works just as well at preventing cancer from coming back within two years. The study involves 17 women aged 50 or older with small tumors.
