Trial aims to find the best way to spot serious prostate cancer
NCT ID NCT06303622
Summary
This study is comparing two different methods for performing prostate biopsies in men who have a suspicious area on an MRI scan. It aims to find out which method—using a computer to fuse the MRI with ultrasound images or relying on the doctor's mental map—is better at finding serious prostate cancers that need treatment. The results will help set the standard for how these biopsies are done in the future.
