New MRI scan could improve visibility of breast biopsy markers
NCT ID NCT06873802
Summary
This study tested whether a specific type of MRI scan, called ZTE imaging, can better visualize breast biopsy markers made of bone cement compared to the standard metal markers. Twenty participants with breast cancer underwent their standard breast MRI scans. Radiologists then compared how clearly each type of marker showed up on the different scan types.
