Mayo clinic tests MRI upgrade for more precise cancer treatments

NCT ID NCT04880226

Summary

This study is testing new MRI imaging methods to see if they can improve the accuracy of MRI-guided tumor ablation procedures. Researchers are enrolling 100 healthy volunteers and patients already scheduled for these procedures to evaluate whether the new technology helps doctors better target tumors, monitor treatment, and assess results. The goal is to determine if these imaging improvements lead to better patient care during these minimally invasive treatments.
