Scientists scan brains to unlock mystery of 'Chemo Brain' in older patients

Summary
This study uses advanced brain MRI scans to understand how chemotherapy affects the brain in older women with breast cancer. Researchers will scan 49 women before and after chemotherapy to look for changes in brain structure and function. The goal is to find brain scan patterns that might predict who is most at risk for chemotherapy side effects affecting thinking and memory.
