First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tested a new type of MRI scan that measures blood flow in tumors without using a contrast dye. The goal was to see if it could detect changes in kidney cancer much earlier than standard scans. Only 6 people with advanced kidney cancer took part before the study was stopped early. The approach was experimental and not yet proven.
