Summary
This study aims to see if a new type of MRI scan can safely and clearly show areas of the brain affected by drug-resistant epilepsy. Researchers are testing a contrast agent called mangafodipir to see if it can highlight where the brain's protective barrier is breaking down during seizures. The goal is to gather knowledge to potentially improve future diagnosis and treatment planning, not to treat the epilepsy itself.
