Heart device safety put to the test in powerful MRI machines
NCT ID NCT06038123
Summary
This study aimed to confirm the safety of specific heart devices (SureScan pacemakers and defibrillators) when patients undergo a 3.0T MRI scan. It involved 64 adults who already had one of these devices implanted. Researchers monitored the participants to see if the powerful MRI magnet caused any problems with their heart device's function.
