MRI may spare bladder cancer patients from useless chemo
NCT ID NCT07202845
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study explores whether special MRI scans taken early during chemotherapy can predict if the treatment is working for muscle-invasive bladder cancer. Researchers will scan 39 patients before, during, and after chemotherapy to see if changes in tumor blood flow and cell density signal a good response. The goal is to avoid unnecessary delays and side effects for those who aren't benefiting, allowing them to proceed to surgery sooner.
