Scientists use special gas scans to see inside CF lungs

NCT ID NCT07192679

Summary

This study aims to better understand lung function in people with cystic fibrosis using advanced imaging techniques. Researchers will use special MRI scans that involve breathing a harmless gas, along with detailed breathing tests, to create detailed pictures of how air moves through the lungs. The goal is to develop more precise ways to measure lung health over time in both children and adults with CF.
