New MRI technique may replace biopsies for lung cancer immune analysis

Summary
This study tests whether advanced MRI scans can identify different immune environments inside lung tumors. Currently, this information requires a tissue biopsy. If successful, MRI could provide a non-invasive way to understand the tumor's immune status. The study will enroll 50 adults with non-small cell lung cancer.
