Scientists map healthy organs with advanced MRI

NCT ID NCT05041166

Summary

This study aims to gather basic information about how a special imaging agent, called [13C]pyruvate, behaves in the bodies of healthy volunteers during an MRI scan. Researchers want to see how this agent is distributed and used for energy in different organs to create a normal reference map. The data will help improve future MRI techniques for research and diagnosis.
