MRI-Guided radiation aims to safely boost Tumor-Killing dose for liver metastases

Summary

This study tests a new way to give high-dose radiation to liver tumors that have spread from other cancers. Using real-time MRI guidance, doctors can adjust the radiation beam to protect nearby organs. The goal is to find the highest safe dose that causes few side effects. About 32 adults with liver metastases will take part.
