New 'See and Treat' radiation machine aims for pinpoint cancer strikes

Summary

This study is testing a new type of radiation machine that combines an MRI scanner with a radiation beam. The goal is to see if using real-time MRI images to guide and adjust radiation treatment can help doctors target cancer more precisely, improve survival, and reduce side effects. It involves 377 adult patients with various types of cancer who are scheduled to receive radiation using this new machine.
