First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving an extra-high dose of radiation to the most aggressive parts of prostate tumors, guided by MRI scans, can improve cancer control while protecting nearby organs. About 164 men with prostate cancer will receive either this boost plus standard radiation or standard radiation alone. The goal is to see if the boost leads to better tumor response and quality of life.
