NCT ID NCT03152773
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether special low-energy MRI settings can make it safe to use standard guidewires during heart catheterization. Guidewires help position catheters but can heat up in an MRI machine. Researchers will enroll 22 adults who need a right heart catheterization to see if this approach works and is safe. The goal is to reduce procedure time and improve imaging.
