MRI may spot hidden urinary tract cancers without needles

NCT ID NCT07252882

First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a special MRI scan can accurately detect invasive tumors in the upper urinary tract. About 178 adults with suspicious findings on a CT scan will receive an MRI, and the results will be compared to standard biopsy or follow-up CT. If successful, MRI could become a safer, non-invasive way to diagnose these cancers.
