New scan aims to catch breast Cancer's return before It's too late
NCT ID NCT06328465
Summary
This study is testing whether a special full-body MRI scan can find breast cancer that has returned or spread to other parts of the body earlier than current methods. It will enroll 145 women with high-risk forms of breast cancer (HER2-positive or Triple Negative) who have finished initial treatment. The main goal is to see if finding cancer recurrence earlier with this scan leads to better long-term survival, possibly by allowing doctors to use more effective treatments sooner.
