No-Shot scan could ease Crohn's diagnosis

NCT ID NCT06526234

Summary

This study tested whether a faster, injection-free MRI scan could be as good as the standard scan at finding signs of Crohn's disease. The goal was to make the test shorter and more comfortable for patients, as the standard scan can be long and the drink needed to prepare for it is often hard to tolerate. Researchers compared the results of the new, quick scan to the full, conventional scan in 250 people being checked for or monitored for Crohn's.
