New scan could simplify bladder cancer diagnosis
NCT ID NCT05783271
Summary
This study aims to see if a shorter, non-contrast MRI scan is as accurate as the standard, more complex MRI for determining if bladder cancer has invaded the muscle wall. Researchers will compare the two scan types in 58 patients suspected of having bladder cancer. The goal is to find a reliable diagnostic method that avoids the need for contrast dye and its potential side effects.
