First seen Jan 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a blood test to detect leftover cancer DNA can help decide who needs extra chemotherapy after esophageal cancer surgery. About 172 adults with stage 2 or 3 esophageal cancer will be randomly assigned to either standard follow-up or chemotherapy plus an immunotherapy drug (tisleliizumab). The goal is to see if the personalized approach improves the chance of staying cancer-free.
