NCT ID NCT05851365

First seen May 16, 2026 ยท Last updated May 16, 2026

Summary

This early-stage study tests whether a special MRI scan using a safe, injected substance (hyperpolarized bicarbonate) can measure acidity levels in prostate tumors. The goal is to see if this imaging method is feasible and safe in a small group of men scheduled for prostate removal. It does not treat the cancer but may help doctors better understand and detect it in the future.
