Precision radiation zaps prostate tumors with MRI guidance
NCT ID NCT05364229
Summary
This study is testing whether using MRI scans to guide radiation treatment can more precisely target prostate tumors while sparing healthy tissue. It involves 40 men with localized prostate cancer who will receive standard radiation plus an extra focused dose to visible tumors. Researchers will track whether this approach is practical to deliver and monitor side effects and quality of life for up to 5 years.
