First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study compares two surgical methods to repair a ligament that stabilizes the kneecap in people who have chronic kneecap dislocations. One method uses a hamstring tendon and a screw, while the newer method uses a quadriceps tendon and an anchor. The goal is to see which technique gives better stability and less pain after surgery.
