New MRI scan spots hidden spinal lesions in MS patients
NCT ID NCT06589999
First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study compares a new MRI technique called MP2RAGE with standard scans to see if it can find more spinal cord lesions in people with multiple sclerosis (MS). About 196 adults with MS will get both types of scans, and two radiologists will count the lesions without knowing which scan is which. If MP2RAGE proves better, it could lead to more accurate MS diagnosis and monitoring.
