First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new way to prevent HIV by giving a long-acting injectable medication called lenacapavir through mobile health vans. It aims to reach 100 people in Los Angeles who are unhoused or unstably housed and face barriers to regular clinic visits. Participants receive the injection every 26 weeks, and researchers track how many start and stay on the prevention regimen over a year.
