Turning fitness into a game to fight heart failure
NCT ID NCT06670001
Summary
This study is testing if a smartphone app that turns daily walking into a game can help people with a specific type of heart failure (HFpEF) become more active. Researchers will compare the game app with social support features to one with competition features, and to a basic control group. The main goal is to see if these fun, game-like approaches help participants increase their daily steps over 9 months, which could improve their symptoms and quality of life.
