New program aims to keep people in addiction treatment

NCT ID NCT06837662

Summary

This study is testing whether adding counseling and a community peer navigator to standard medication treatment helps people with opioid addiction and other health problems stay in treatment and engage more with their primary care. Researchers will compare this enhanced 'MOUD Plus' program to usual care for 70 participants. The goal is to see if extra support improves how long people stay on their medication and how connected they feel to their care team.
