First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study aimed to understand what happens inside the body when children and teenagers exercise. Researchers measured molecular changes in the blood after a single workout and after 12 weeks of regular endurance training. A total of 320 healthy kids and teens aged 10-17 took part. The goal was to learn how exercise affects health at a molecular level, not to test a treatment.
