Summary

This early-stage study tests a brain implant (CorTec BIC System) that delivers electrical stimulation to encourage the brain to rewire itself after a stroke. Four adults who had a stroke at least 6 months ago and have lasting arm weakness will receive the implant and undergo rehabilitation. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and can improve arm function.
