Summary

This study looked at whether a 12-week structured movement program could help young children (ages 4-6) with autism improve their motor skills and daily functioning. Twenty-eight children participated; some did the movement program twice a week plus their usual education, while others only had usual education. Results showed that the movement program may support better coordination and independence in daily activities.
