First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding motor control exercises (focused, supervised movements) to standard physical therapy helps people who had lumbar decompression surgery. 51 adults who were 3 months post-surgery took part. The goal was to see if these exercises could reduce pain, disability, and fear of movement, and improve body awareness and function. Results will show if this extra training leads to better recovery.
