Summary
This study looks at whether a special type of communication training, called motivational interviewing, can help nursing students become better at counseling patients. The study will involve 72 second-year nursing students, split into two groups. One group gets the motivational interviewing training, the other gets standard communication training. Researchers will measure their counseling skills, confidence, and willingness to communicate before and after the training.
